Is budget a constarint for you buying kitchen equipments?

Are you starting up a business that relies heavily on kitchen equipment, or looking to upgrade your current setup, then you'll know that off the shelf equipment isn't cheap; and if you need anything bespoke then you will probably have to add a good percentage to your original budget.
Most will get quotes from all of the restaurant equipment suppliers that they can find, and compare the prices; that, however, isn't always going to be the best way to decide on where they should be buying.

For instance, do you know where the products are manufactured, and how long they will take to be delivered if they aren't currently in stock? Do you know if there is anyone based at the company you're buying from who can come to your business quickly if repairs are needed – something that could be critical if you are relying on cup and saucer dispensers, hot food tables, etc., for the running of your business. Are you even sure that the products they are offering you are the latest, and not something that's about to be replaced by a newer model? Most comparisons won't give you this information, so it wouldn't be wise to buy on price alone.
